About Sally

Sally Canzoneri is a photographer, book artist, and writer. Her work in digital photography grew out her interest in developing images for her artist’s books. As a result, she looked at photography as tool for creating graphic images beyond those that are traditionally considered “photographs.” Her recent work, in particular, has a more pictorial than photographic look to it. In some “former lives” Sally was a city planner and a litigating attorney.

Sally received a B.A. from Bennington College (1971) , and a M.U.P. (1976) and J.D. (1979) from the University of Illinois. Sally Canzoneri lives in Washington, DC with her husband, her daughter, and Bisky, The Cutest Three-legged Dog in the Western Hemisphere.
